About Me
I’m Brandon Nguyen, a U.S. Navy service member transitioning into cybersecurity with a B.S. in Cybersecurity and multiple industry certifications. Over my military career, I led incident response for mission-critical system failures, developed maintenance plans across departments, and ensured the proper execution of technical manuals for system initialization and repair. As a security administrator for advanced weapon systems, I maintained Linux and Windows servers, managed patching and access controls, and conducted vulnerability remediation. I also designed and delivered anti-terrorism and combat-systems response training, refining recovery strategies through scenario-based exercises. Now, as a Master Training Specialist, I focus on translating complex technical procedures into hands-on workshops while continuing my cybersecurity education through podcasts and YouTube content. I’m passionate about securing critical systems and excited to bring my experience into the cybersecurity field.
